B.Ed in Foundation Phase teaching and an honors degree in Remedial Therapy/Learning Support from Stellenbosch University.

 

Fiona has taught in Cape Town and abroad, and thus experienced varied curriculums, teaching and learning styles. She is passionate about inclusive education and ensuring all children have self-confidence and a will to be the best that they can be.

Michaela Wagener

Michaela is a teacher and a mom to her beautiful six year-old daughter. She qualified as a Foundation Phase teacher in 2019 prior to which she worked as a learner facilitator and teaching assistant respectively.

 

Michaela's favourite aspect about teaching is the sense of fulfillment it brings her, especially a world where there is so much uncertainty. Knowing we are able to provide a safe and loving environment for our kids is a huge privilege.

Children who experience barriers to learning can thrive and experience success within a safe and supportive learning environment. Michaela's goal as a teacher is to create a learning environment in which each child feels seen, valued, and safe to explore their own potential.
